ATA Tigers | TKD Juniors | TKD Adults

Our ATA Tiger program has been years in the making and has been designed by experts. Do we teach them to kick and punch, of course we do, but we do it in a fun way that makes then think they will be the next would champion. In reality we are working on the things that will make them better behaved and more responsible at home, church and school. We work with them to better their listening, paying attention, following directions and showing respect. One of the central tenets of all forms of the martial arts is an absolute focus on self-discipline. Partner-driven training can also foster camaraderie, as they force kids to pair off and build their skills together. Limiting screen-time is a great idea when it comes to getting kids off the couch and encouraging them to be more active. Most forms of martial arts are based around an accomplishment system of colored belt that signify the wearer’s degree of skill. There are many reasons for kids to become involved in the martial arts. ATA has developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo called Karate For Kids. With some children’s activities, the learning stops when the activity ends. The goal here is to teach children how to take the life skills we teach and put them to use in their lives at home and in school. Our reward program will help you reinforce our lessons at home and in school. Because our program is karate-based, we are proud to help children learn the values of courtesy, discipline, self-control and respect. You can continue the lessons at home in a fun and exciting way with our weekly progress reports. We will reward him or her in front of the entire class, helping reinforce good behavior. However we also understand that sometimes our children have trouble displaying these values so if you need a little extra support we will work side by side with you to make sure your child is on the right track.
